Hot showers can help you relax more, circulate blood, and make your mood better. However, some people can experience dizziness after a hot shower. Check out the following article to find out the cause of dizziness after taking a hot shower and how to deal with it.

Cause Of Dizzy After Hot Bath

Soaking in hot water, airfall, or hot bath is some way to relax you. In addition to making you more relaxed, bathing or bathing in hot water has many health benefits, including:

  • Improving blood circulation
  • Relaxing pain
  • Fixing the mood
  • Helping muscle relaxation
  • Clean oil and skin droppings

Even if you have many benefits, you shouldn't take too long to take a hot shower, especially if you have heart problems, blood vessels, and nerves. In owners of these health problems, baths of hot water for too long can cause dizziness to nausea. These complaints can be caused by several things, such as:

Temperatures are too high

Exposure to water and steam that is too long, such as when in cassava or baths in hot water at too high temperatures, can change the way the body works. Research reveals that hot water increases the heart rate by 32%. If the body's condition cannot tolerate changes in heart rate or blood pressure, you are at risk of dizziness until you pass out.

In addition, standing under hot and evaporating showers causes your body temperature to rise. The blood vessels will then widen and the heart rate will slow down so that blood pressure drops and causes you to feel dizzy and feel like you want to pass out.

Standing for too long

If you stand too long in a shower warm or hot water temperature, this could trigger sinkop vasovagal, which is fainting due to a decrease in blood supply to the brain. This condition is characterized by a sudden decrease in heart rate and blood pressure that can occur when the body is stressed.

Standing for a long time causes blood to collect on the leg and legs so that it temporarily reduces blood flow to the brain. This is what makes you nauseous, dizzy, blurred vision, and fainting.

Low blood sugar

Dizziness and nausea after a hot bath can also be caused by low blood sugar levels. This condition can occur at any time, not only during a shower.

If you are fasting or an empty stomach for a long time, a warm bath can make you feel nauseous. Apart from an empty stomach, this condition can also occur a few hours after eating foods that consist mostly of processed carbohydrates that can cause your blood sugar levels to soar and drop rapidly.
